一个月前，尚真（熊黛林 饰）来到韩国首尔，偶遇了向女友求婚失败的书店老板健宇（立威廉 饰），健宇为人温厚善良，让沉浸在遭受男友背叛的痛苦中的尚真忽然萌生了一个想法：要利用健宇帮自己破坏男友的婚礼。于是，健宇跟随尚真来到中国，回家的尚真暴露出了“野蛮”的一面，对远道而来的国际友人疏于照顾。尚真的表妹永真（冯媛甄 饰）和姐姐一样令男人头疼，担任跆拳道教练的永真班中有一名缺乏男子气概的学员志凯（何炅 饰），志凯对永真仰慕有加，但却时常在永真的拳脚下吃亏。健宇陪伴尚真进行破坏婚礼的准备工作，却在演习中得罪陌生人，而此时，距离婚礼的日期越来越近了……

1981年由桂治洪执导《万人斩》，以人皆所欲、斩破贪念和舍身成仁为故事的题材，电影主要演员有陈观泰、谷峰、白彪和尤翠玲。《万人斩》电影的剧本改编自张彻在1969年的电影作品《铁手无情》。邵氏一代武打小生陈观泰在电影里有精彩的演绎，饰演总捕头冷天鹰。冷天鹰在缉捕匪徒时有精彩的战斗场面，且有激情的情感戏。曾获得最佳演员奖项的谷峰，所饰演的是一位奸角，与正派有激烈的战斗。 曾与陈观泰在《成记茶楼》合作的导演桂治洪，一直擅长于拍摄罪行、恐怖和喜剧等电影题材。《万人斩》是桂治洪唯一古装武侠作品，格局精奇，拍出肃杀和深沉的气氛。
